Abstract
This article presents the incidence of cryptorchidism in children. The leading methods of diagnosis and treatment of congenital pathology are considered. Currently, along with the conservative method of treatment, there are about 250 methods of surgical treatment of abnormalities in the position of the organ. Preventive examinations of adolescent children, dispensary monitoring of a group of operated patients with the appointment of ultrasound examination and hormonal status studies will help to increase the reproductive potential of the male population.
